While most Garnets are known for their red or deep orange color, they are comprised of several varieties and can be found in many colors of the rainbow, and can even be colorless. There are even some very rare Garnets that change color depending on the light it is in. Garnets are a durable gemstone, measuring 6.5 – 7.5 on the Mohs scale.
